
Amber – Director
Amber Sellwood brings over 10 years of experience in the disability and health sector, driven by a strong passion for advocacy and inclusion. Her career began with roles at Queensland Health and the Department of Justice before transitioning to the NDIS sector, where she discovered a greater ability to support people toward achieving better outcomes. Today, Amber leads Seed with integrity, creativity, and a deep commitment to working alongside individuals to help them reach their full potential.

Sam – Psychologist
Sam is a registered psychologist. She provides invaluable support to Seed, ensuring a happy and healthy workplace culture while also working directly with participants and stakeholders. Through a comprehensive suite of mental wellbeing programs, Sam empowers individuals and teams to build resilience, improve mental health, and thrive both personally and professionally. Her approach combines evidence-based strategies with a genuine commitment to fostering positive change.

Rose – Service Leader
Rose leads Seed’s Support Coordination and Peer Mentoring programs, bringing a wealth of experience in disability services and community engagement. Rose’s background is nursing and midwifery, and she has also worked as an LAC within the NDIS space. Rose is dedicated to implementing positive change and overcoming barriers that stand in the way of success. Her background includes roles in the NDIS sector and community health, where she developed expertise in advocacy, goal setting, and empowering individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes. Rose’s approach is collaborative, person-centered, and driven by her commitment to inclusion and innovation.

Emily Casey – Service Leader
Emily Casey is a Psychosocial Recovery Coach and Support Coordinator with a strong focus on empowering individuals with psychosocial disabilities. Drawing on extensive experience in mental health and disability services, Emily is passionate about fostering resilience and independence through person-centered approaches. Her work emphasizes collaboration, advocacy, and breaking down barriers to ensure participants can achieve meaningful goals and thrive in their communities. Emily brings creativity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion to every aspect of her role.

Lola – Mascot
Lola is Seed’s official mascot, chief happiness officer, and full-time morale booster. Her job description includes greeting everyone with a wagging tail, supervising meetings from her favorite sunny spot, and occasionally stealing snacks when no one’s looking. Lola takes her role very seriously – she’s here to remind us that life is better with a little playfulness, unconditional love, and the occasional belly rub. Whether she’s snoozing through strategy sessions or joining in on team celebrations, Lola brings joy, laughter, and a whole lot of personality to the Seed family.

Shanae – The Ultimate Multi-Hat Wearer
Shanae is the glue that holds our team together and the definition of a go-getter. With the energy of someone who’s just discovered unlimited coffee and the passion to outshine the brightest lights, Shanae wears more hats than a fashion boutique. From providing hands-on support work and mentoring services to jumping behind the admin desk to keep everything running smoothly, she does it all and does it brilliantly. Her adaptability, enthusiasm, and commitment make her an irreplaceable part of Seed. When something needs doing, Shanae is already on it – often before anyone else has even thought about it.
